Year 3 is the year of “technology”.

It focuses on major inventions since WW2 – nuclear weapons, computers, renewable energies – and then moves on to today’s science and technology.
Major topics like the use of mobile phones, texting, gadgets and social networking are explored by looking at both positive and negative effects of technology on our everyday lives.

Student activities aim at discussing various issues related to technology – cyber-bullying, social media addiction, loss of individual identity and privacy – and their impact on communicative and social skills.
There will also be an exploration of the technological similarities and differences between the six countries involved in the project.
